Habitat For Humanity.

In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.' Acts 20:35

Cherokee County Ecumenical Build

Hillside has the opportunity to join together with the Body of Christ in Cherokee County to bless a families by helping them to build a new home.  These new families receive homes after careful consideration by Habitat For Humanity. Each family must put in 100 hours of service on building their home and/or other home recipients before they quality to receive a home. Each family must qualify to receive a home based on household income, citizenship, credit and other requirements.

Throughout a build, workers might build the home framework, install flooring, install siding and drywall (no mudding), paint, and landscaping.  There is plenty of skilled workers to teach you how to do the job you signed up for.

Habitat For Humanity not only builds homes but also provides repairs for qualified home owners in our area.
