Sunday Morning Traditional Worship

8:00 am and 11:00 am  in the  Sanctuary

Traditional worship is offered Sundays at 8:00 & 11:00 am in the Sanctuary. During this service, we worship our Lord with a traditional Methodist format which includes the singing of hymns, recitation of historic Creeds, and praying the Lord’s Prayer. Holy Communion is served every Sunday at 8:00 am.

Nursery is offered at 8:00 am for under 2 years old. Nursery and Sunday school is offered during 11:00 am for children of all ages. Visit our Children's Ministry page for their current schedule.

Traditional Worship Servant Teams

Production Ministries

Our production ministries team makes use of technology to enhance our experiences in worship and beyond worship. Using audio, video, lighting, and computer equipment, these servants help us connect to the message that is conveyed through the worship experiences. In addition to Sunday worship, this team regularly assists with special events at the church including weddings and banquets.

Experience is not required to be a part of this team, just an interest in learning how technology can be applied in worship.Includes audio, video, lighting and computer equipment. Contact Chandler Elder for more information.

Welcoming Teams

Our desire is to provide not only a warm welcome and greeting on behalf of the congregation of Hillside Church, but more importantly, to provide a warm and hospitable greeting on behalf of Christ, who waits to meet each person’s deepest needs. We try to accomplish this through use of Ushers, Greeters, Welcome Desk Greeters, Parking Lot Greeters, and Guides each Sunday mornings. These servants are an important part of Hillside's ministries. To join one of these teams, contact Beth Federman.
