Guest Services is comprised of the following teams of devoted, passionate servants.
These servants assist in the weekly worship experiences by providing a warm and inviting welcome to all guests. They provide valuable information and instruction, including assistance with directions to locations within the building. Greeters may also, at times, be invited to distribute information to accompany and enhance the themes and messages in worship.
These servants assist in the weekly worship experiences by welcoming all guests, providing information and instruction, distributing bulletins, assisting with seating and the flow of people in an out of worship spaces, collecting the morning’s offering, and in other ways during the service as needed.
Servants assist in the weekly worship experiences by welcoming all guests as they arrive in the parking lot. They direct traffic flow, both of vehicles and pedestrians, as people arrive and depart. This area of service offers an opportunity to make a friendly first impression with our guests!
These servants assist in the weekly worship experiences by welcoming all guests, providing information and instruction, and by providing a place for guests to have their specific questions quickly answered. This team will often answer questions regarding Sunday School options, Bible Studies and Classes, and midweek program times or locations. The Welcome Desk servants also collect registration information or special information from worship.
Call 1st Time Visitors
Team members are emailed the phone numbers of the past Sunday’s 1st time visitors. They then give the visitor a welcome call and answer any questions they might have about Hillside. The visitor team then reports back to the Membership Office by email about their phone conversations.
