Rev. Brad Greene
- Worship Minister
Ext. 107
I’m
basically one of those so-called “church kids.” Born and
raised right here in Woodstock, the church has always been a
central part of my life. After graduating from Etowah in
1991, I went to Florida State University and pursued my
degree in Music Education. While there, the Wesley
Foundation became an integral part of drawing me back into a
relationship with Christ. (Imagine that…someone straying
from God during college!?!?!?) It was also through the
Foundation that I met my wonderful wife, Erica.
After graduating in 1995, I felt very strongly
that God was calling and drawing me toward work in a local
church. That has led us to the present, with many seasons
along the way. These seasons included 3 years as Director
of Music, Youth, and Education at Commerce First UMC, 4
years as the Youth Minister at Trinity UMC in Cartersville,
and 1˝ years as Contemporary Worship Leader at Dallas First
UMC. Additionally, the calling of God upon my life led me
to Candler School of Theology (I graduated in May of 2005)
and ordination in the United Methodist Church.
Erica and I were married in 1997, and since
then God has blessed us with Ian (born 2001) and Joy (born
2006).
God definitely drew us to Hillside in 2005, and it is
with joy and humility that I serve you as Associate Pastor,
with an emphasis on ministry to young adults.
