ADULTS
Hillside offers a variety of ministries and activities geared toward adults of all ages.
BIBLE STUDIES and SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES are offered throughout the year to provide opportunities to grow in God's Word.
Sunday school classes for adults of all ages and life situations are offered on Sunday mornings at the 9:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. worship hours. No registration is required and you are invited and encouraged to visit a number of classes.
Short-term studies (such as Alpha, Financial Peace, and Beth Moore) and long-term studies (such as Disciple and Christian Believer) are offered on various days and times. The mission of Hillside's MEN'S MINISTRY is to help men find, understand, grow in, and serve through their relationship with Jesus Christ. Proverbs 27:17 says, "As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." This is accomplished through monthly breakfast gatherings, dinners, an annual retreat, golf outings and/or tournaments, father/child events, small group meetings, and more. The mission of Hillside's WOMEN'S MINISTRY is to love and serve the women of our congregation and community by providing opportunities to come together in Christ-centered fellowship, to encourage friendships, and to grow in the knowledge and love of our Lord and Savior. I Thessalonians 2:8 says, "We loved you so much we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well." JOY is our SENIOR ADULT ministry. The JOY group is an active group of retired and nearly retired adults, age 55 and older, who enjoy fellowship through monthly gatherings which include potluck or catered luncheons, tours of local landmarks, mystery tours, service projects, and more. It is a JOY to be a senior adult at Hillside. Information regarding JOY activities can be found on the online Bulletin Board and in the Sunday bulletin.
