WOMEN’S MINISTRY

Our mission is to love and serve the women of our congregation and community by providing opportunities to come together in Christ-centered fellowship, to encourage friendships, and to grow in the knowledge and love of our Lord and Savior. We do this through a number of activities and events. Information about our upcoming events can be found in the Sunday Bulletin, on our Facebook Group page, in the E-Newsletter, and on the online Bulletin Board.

Fellowship Breakfasts: Join us the first Saturday of each month for breakfast, fellowship, and a time of devotion in the Word.

Game Night: We meet once a quarter for a Friday Ladies' Night Out evening of fun and fellowship. Dinner is provided. We take donations of packages of diapers for The Hope Center, a local ministry providing physical, emotional, and spiritual support to women and men facing pregnancy-related issues.

We sponsor a Children's Consignment Sale twice a year as a community service and outreach project. This is our primary fundraiser.

We support the Cherokee Family Violence Center through providing groceries, emergency supplies, and other help as needed. We sponsor a Shop-for-Mom Event for the children at the center.

We support The Hope Center in various ways, including collecting diapers as admission to our Game Nights.

Retreat: We host a yearly ladies weekend retreat. This is a great opportunity to unplug for a couple of days, relax, make new friends, laugh, cry, and most importantly spend great quality time with your Lord.

Bible Studies: Numerous opportunities are available throughout the year to join your sisters-in-Christ in studying and growing in the Word. Classes range from in-depth to "no homework" to drop-in classes. There is one for you. Descriptions, dates, times, and registration details can be found on our Bible studies information page.
