It is a pleasure to be part of the ministries here at Hillside United Methodist Church. I believe that because of the ongoing mission of Hillside, I am able to reach out to the members of the church and the community. What I like best about my work is that I am able to blend my faith with clinical knowledge in order to provide professional counseling that is spiritually sensitive. It is a miraculous circumstance that brought me to Hillside, and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve in this ministry.
Carol is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors, the American Counseling Association, and the Licensed Professional Counselors Association of Georgia.

Most people seek counseling to find relief from pain and suffering. I believe counseling provides much more--not only a way to move away from suffering, but a way to move towards personal growth and discovering new possibilities. I consider it a privilege to walk alongside another in their journey towards healing and wholeness, while providing the safety of confidentiality and professional competency.
Tracy is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and the American Association of Christian Counselors. Tracy sees individuals andcouples and has notable experience with adolescents. She also offers specialized group therapy including a Women’s Therapy Group and a Teen Girls’ Therapy Group. Tracy is the mother of two boys.

As a professional counselor and fellow Christian, I consider sharing your life’s burdens and blessings a tremendous privilege. Christ gives us life, wanting us to have it to the fullest (John 10:10). God longs for us to walk through life with Him in love, with joy, and victoriously. Life does include difficult times. We face transitions, hardships and emotions like anger, loneliness, fear, and sadness. I am pleased to offer confidential, safe, and clinically competent counseling. My theory is Bible-based. Therapy is Christ-focused. Session time is Holy Spirit-led and bathed in prayer. May all glory be to God.
Shelli is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has served in lay ministry in her local church and various Para-Church organizations through leadership, teaching, and counseling for more than 15 years. She is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and Christian Association for Psychological Studies. She lives in Cherokee County with her husband and four children.
