Make Every Minute Count

This month's topic: Necessary Sins: Part 4 - "Lust" with Craig Groeschel

MUST Food Drive

This month, MUST Ministries is challenging churches to help meet a serious deficit in canned goods for those in need. Churches are being challenged to "Pledge a Ton of Food" to recoup the shortfall. A one Sunday November 15th food drive will both make up for the rainy weather food drive at the North Georgia State Fair where only one third the anticipated food was raised.

What's needed most are unexpired canned meat (chicken, tuna, ham), peanut butter, jelly, boxed dinners with meat, spaghetti sauce with meat, chili, beef stew and dried potatoes.

Please bring your donations to Hillside outside of Celebration Hall during Sunday morning services November 15. The goal is to fill the box which holds approximately 1500 cans of food, the amount MUST distributes daily.

Nothing Wasted

Every believer has a personal story – a story of how they came to Christ and how the Lord has since been working to change them into the mature child of God He planned for them to be.

I’d like to ask this question of you. How, through retreats, small group studies, accountability groups and other Christian programs, has your life and walk with the Lord been changed?

The purpose of this request is simple...to help and encourage others while they are walking through their valleys of life.

Isaiah 41:10Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

Would you be willing to share your story with others? If so, and if you want, we will only use your first name or we will leave it unsigned. We will be placing these stories in your monthly Men of Hillside newsletter.

Please send your story to: David@ dmsnyder@comcast.net
